05.09.2011 - Two September Shows are coming up! The Stud at the Stud!

The Stud will play two shows in September. The first one will be at Stud Kulturförderverein Offenburg, free entry!!!

The guys are also looking forward to play the smallest venue of the world again, the Mata Hari Bar in Nürnberg, at the 100st edition of "Wohnzimmermusik".

03.08.2011 - The Stud on air!

Tonight at 9.40 pm The Stud will be on air on SWR DASDING! The show Netzparade will feature their new song "Papers Instead". Netzparade is a show for unsigned bands that offer their songs as a free download. Every week three or four new songs/bands are introduced. After that you can vote for your favourite song. All the listener's votes create the Netzparade Charts!

So give "Papers Instead" a listen tonight! And don't forget to vote to help the band getting a high chart position!

This is for the people of Switzerland: The channel Radioindustrie has been playing some songs of Everything is in the Air for some weeks now. 16.01.2011 - New Website, New EP, New Tour

A delayed Happy New Year to everyone!

There are a lot of things coming up. The snow is melting and new plants are growing. As you see, a new website will be your virtual gateway to the Stud.

Jona, Julius, Javier and Matthias were spending the Christmans break writing new songs.

Although the guys already have enough songs for a double album, they decided to make an EP! Therefore, the Stud will play an exclusive release show for their new EP From the Beginning on 18th February 2011. It will include four songs never played and heared before. The release party comes with an additional The Stud DJ-Set by Jonathan (DJ Walrus) and Javier (DJ Atariboy) at the Yeah!Party at Keller Klub Stuttgart. Support DJ will be Hannes Orange (Yeah Records) for a night of Rock'n'Roll. See Yeah!Party's facebook and website for more information.

Soon you also will get the chance to be one of the first to listen to the new EP. You can win a signed copy of the EP including some surprises. Just keep your eyes open! I a few day you will learn how you can win a copy.

There's is also a tour around Europe coming up! First dates are flowing in. Tthe Stud will playe on a private party in Freiburg on 12th February, on the 26th of March they will support the Screening (UK) in Babensham, Germany. More dates are coming up every day so stay tuned to see in which city you can check out the guy's new material.

17.11.2010: A Live Shot - Blog Up - TVEye Labelfest

The Stud played sold out PopNotPop-Festival. Read about it here and see this little live Video of "Come". On 25th of December the Stud are invited to play Germany's capital. Frank Popp's TVEye Labelfest promises a night of garage rock, sixties and a full live set by The Stud! Do not miss it!
